Dear IVAO members,

As 2013 draws to an end we invite you to celebrate 15 years service to the flight simulation community with our massive Crystal Skies event. Taking the format of our prestigious Crowded Skies event that thousands of pilots and controllers enjoy each year we are creating a special Crystal Skies celebration award.

This all day event involves dozens of countries worldwide providing extensive ATC coverage for literally thousands of online flights. We expect peak traffic to start building from 18:45 UTC so make sure you are able to join in and experience the very best that IVAO has to offer.

We are delighted that our sponsors Aerosoft will again be donating one euro for each simultaneous connection made to our network during the peak hour to the Heath-Care Jimma-Bonga project, details of which can be found here. Our current connection record stands at 2,303 and we hope you will help us beat this target during the event to help raise money to support this essential humanitarian aid project.

Our network team are hard at work making improvements to our network stability and although not yet 100 percent complete they anticipate these changes will help us beat our target.

Requirements to get the award:
- Be online at least 20 minutes before and after the event on IvAc or IvAp (peak hour is at 19:00 UTC) which means you have to be connected between 18:40 and 19:20 UTC.
- For pilots two hours minimum of flying and for ATC one hour minimum of ATC
- Staff members online as staff cannot get the Crystal Skies award.
