 :D :D :D somos latinos. Un anticipo...... el plugin es impresionante!!, carga, armamento, reabastecimiento tanker, etc. etc..... hay que estudiar o:k

A ver qué tal resulta, pero esa parte de ir "destrozando escenarios", no sé, no sé...
Algunas veces queremos desahogarnos y ser "los violentos del aire", pero creo que X-Plane no es la mejor opción. Hay simuladores más específicos para combate, con lo que esa parte del AMX no sé hasta qué punto será interesante. Pero bueno, se verá.
En cualquier caso, podría ser un buen compañero para el fantástico Alphajet freeware de xpfr.org.

El desarrollo de aviones militares puede ser un buen pasatiempo para aquellos que no puden pertenecer a las fuerzas aéreas.
Pero por otro lado, para estas, es una muy muy buena herramienta.
Yo creo que X-plane debería dotarse de todo cuanto sea posible, ya sea hasta para fumigar  ;)

Ayer lo probé un rato en LEXJ con este equipo (Intel Core (TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @2.33 GHz, 3,50 GB RAM GeForce GTX260 Windows XP), y con esta configuración junto con Alpilotx y ortofotos ;D

El avión es muy bonito y me encantó. El cockpit (2D – 3D) muy completo, su comportamiento suave y progresivo, y su buen diseño gráfico en general.
Viene también con un avión tanker para el abastecimiento (aún no lo he probado).
Dispone de un plugin excelente para la configuración de armamento, tanker, cockpit, Tacan, etc. etc. (por investigar). Se puede configurar el 3D cockpit (Smart View On-Off), pero se reducen bastante los fps.

Trae un manual Word en italiano y con la versión final lo traerá también en ingles.

En próximas pruebas los asuntos pendientes y mas capturas. Es necesario leer el manual para poder utilizar todos los sistemas disponibles.   

Aterrizajes de prueba - error :'(
Es delicadísimo de ruedas, revientan los neumáticos en cuanto te descuides el mínimo. De 6 aterrizajes me reventaron 4 veces antes o después. No se pueden utilizar frenos medianos ni fuertes.
Los 2 aterrizajes que no reventaron las Pirelli, tome tierra a 135-140, flaps a tope, quité frenos de aire justo antes de tocar pista y el gas al poco de tomar tierra. Hay que utilizar los frenos suaves e intermitentemente, de lo contrario cascan las ruedas. Son de mírame y no me toques en esta beta.

Los pajarracos a media pista en LELN me reventaron la dirección y todos los sistemas, funcionaron los frenos fuertes y, no reventaron las ruedas pero termine en el campo de la margen derecha ^-^

This is correct. You can't apply full&continuous breaking action (as in reality) unless it is very cold outside...or you are landing very light (no bombs)

This is what you should do:
- engage air brakes (there is a switch "lift dump" right above the speed indicator) - they will automatically come up when you touch the ground (and go away if you apply full throttle for a go-around)

- when you touch, keep the nose up until you slow down to 100Knots (this is called aerodynamic breaking) - do not use the brakes

- lower your nose and apply soft breaking pressure until you reach 50 knots (you can monitor the temperature of the brakes opening the window from "menu->plugin->amx->toggle info window" (if you do not have breaking pedals, use the breaking switch in quick on-off fashion)

- if you are "long" and you are at a military airport, engage the arresting hook! G:o

And please allow me to add: you flight the final approach by keeping the runway centered in the HUD's vertical path indicator and by keeping the angle of attack equal to 10 degrees (this  combination will give you the ideal landing speed for any configuration you might have).

You land with flaps full down.

The angle of attack is shown on the HUD, it is the leftmost scale (just on the right of the G numeric indication).
Each "bullet" of the scale represents 5 degrees of AoA, so 10 is right on the first "mark" (two bullets).

When all tires are on the ground, hit the "steer" button on the main panel in order to activate the nose steering.

And, please, do not ever-ever-ever hit the "canopy" button while in flight - no, really DO NOT DO THAT!!! never...

It's not so dificult. When I'm near from the basket, I apply little movements using the trim, but it's necesary iron nerves :)

Imposible llegar y besar el santo a la primera, hay que insistir en varias ocasiones hasta pillarle el punto :-b-, y ser muy fino con el joystick y con pequeños movimientos de ajuste. A la mas mínima te desvías y no encestas, te pasas, otra vez de nuevo a intentarlo, frenos de aire muy finos, vas para atrás y volver a intentarlo, acelerar un poco para lentamente acercarse, nivelar, ajustar, nivelar, ajustar y nivelar ajustar :-w-, hay que tener nervios de acero :)

Luis your procedure is correct...
Let me suggest to set the "declutter" switch (hud panel) to 1/2. You will remove from the HUD a few elements that you are not going to need.

Or you can use the "plugin->amx->configure for AAR" menu item: it will also empty the extrernal tanks for you and engage the fuel transfer pumps as needed...

Lovely screen!!!

On the left-side lateral console, on the near edge, you will find the knob controlling the refueling probe light (it surrounded by switches).

You can turn it up a bit for night operation. It will cast a nice red light on the probe and even on the basket....

It's nice to see the AMX on the flight deck....

Too bad the real one is not rated for aircraft carrier operation, the arresting hook is only there for emergency... however you can try this:

- select any military airport (that is an airport close to any TACAN). You can try at "LIED".
- proceed into an aborted take off (cut off the engines before rotation, at 110 KIAS and let the AMX coast without braking)
- deploy the arresting hook
- see what happens when you reach the end of the runway :-)

Debe haber maniobras de la OTAN por aquí, con el Nimitz y un avión italiano en su cubierta. ¿Dónde están nuestros Harriers?  Es una pena, sólo tenemos el viejo "Matador" disponible :(

Se puede aterrizar tambien en el Mediterraneo en estas maniobras de la OTAN con los H500D de nuestra Armada Naval ;)

Según se ha publicado en el foro (maldito), el modelo está terminado. En un par de días esperan tener finalizado el instalador para los tres sistemas operativos.
El modelo y la guía de usuario saldrán, inicialmente, en italiano. Posteriormente, sacarán una actualización al inglés, gratuita.

Buenisima noticia , gracias ..por cierto , el AMX tiene algun tipo de regstro o demas ? o por lo contrario, si lo compro ,pago, lo guardo muy bien,  lo podran usar mis nietos sin problemas ???   ;D

El AMX no tiene ningún tipo de DRM. Descargar, descomprimir, y listo. Tuyo para siempre. Así, da gusto, la verdad.

New features:

- Added option to prevent tires from blowing due to overheating (when braking)
- Flap handle can now be mouse-operated when in 3D cockpit
- Engine-stop switch now only works when throttle is at idle
- Taxi & Landing light switch is now linked to x-plane default commands
- Brazilian configuration provided (along with livery): 2 DEFA guns, 230 Kg additional fuel.
- Tweaked aerodynamics: better roll behavior, better pitch behavior when deploying speed-brakes (as it should be, the nose will pitch-up slightly but the current vertical path will be preserved

Eye candy section:

- Brighter HUD
- Higher resolution livery textures
- Multi-level paint-kit included (for Photoshop/GIMP) – new object mapping make painting a lot easier.
- Higher resolution 3D cockpit textures
- Better looking canopy transparency (realistic/soft canopy animation is work in progress for version 1.2)
- Three liveries included (one is intended for the Brazilian configuration)
- Better looking wing condensation clouds – also better driven according to g-load and atmospheric conditions

Fixed issues:
- 2D panel rendering issues when x-plane's "triple head to go" option is selected:
Added menu option to support triple head to go mode
- Nose gear invisible for "other" AM-X when in multiplayer mode, viewing from the cockpit:

Pending issues:
- Plugin menu conflict with some other aircrafts after the AM-X is unloaded:
As also pointed out by Sandy, this is not due to an AM-X plugin bug – a new menu structure will be released, probably with AM-X 1.2, also addressing this issue
