X-Plane es un buen sitio para volarlo, ya que no hicieron ningún vuelo fuera de la atmósfera terrestre...  ;D

El buran no hizo un vuelo entero? que yo recuerde si lo hizo pero luego la caida de la mitad del hangar sobre el buran y la falta de presupuesto terminaron con el proyecto.

Yo lo corroboro, es mas, os adjunto lo relativo al vuelo según la wikipedia.

"Su primer y único vuelo

El único vuelo orbital del Burán (no tripulado) se produjo a las 3:00 UTC del 15 de noviembre de 1988. Fue puesto en órbita por un lanzador Energía específicamente diseñado para este vuelo. El sistema de soporte vital no estaba instalado, así como tampoco los controles de la cabina. El transbordador efectuó dos órbitas completas antes de regresar, ejecutando un impresionante aterrizaje en automático en la pista del cosmódromo de Baikonur. Los transbordadores estadounidenses, aunque eran casi por completo automáticos, debían ser pilotados manualmente en vuelo atmosférico. El sistema de guía automatico fue diseñado en el Centro de Investigación Científica Jartrón (Járkov, Ucrania), fue el más grande logro ya que no necesitaba la intervención de pilotos humanos.[1]

Parte del lanzamiento fue televisado, aunque no el lanzamiento en sí. Esto dio pie a las especulaciones que afirmaban que fue una misión «fabricada», y que el posterior aterrizaje no se había producido desde la órbita, sino desde un avión que transportaba uno de los transbordadores rusos (proceso que se usaba en la parte estadounidense para probar las características aerodinámicas de sus propios aparatos). Desde entonces, los videos de aquel lanzamiento fueron publicados, confirmando que ciertamente, el Buran fue lanzado y en las pobres condiciones climatológicas que los medios de comunicación soviéticos habían afirmado que tal lanzamiento sucedió."

Más tarde buscaré la referencia, pero lo uqe yo tengo entendido es que no llego a salir de la atmósfera terrestre.

desmo904, no digo que tu nota no sea correcta (ya os digo que luego buscaré mi fuente), pero en lo relativo a la Wikipedia no os lo creais todo, porque la Wikipedia la puede redactar cualquiera y puede piner las barbaridades que quiera (no digo que este sea el caso).

Teníais razón, el Burán hizo una órbita de 251 x 263 kilómetros antes de regresar a tierra.

Avenger, se agradece el consejo, y mas teniendo en cuenta que la wiki esta realizada por particulares en sus ratos libres.

Pero no es el caso, todo esto se puede corroborar por otras fuentes.

Respecto al tema que no llego a orbitar... si mal no recuerdo, los cohetes energia (vamos, los que tenian que poner al burán en orbita) tivieron una primera misión en la que debian de poner en orbita el satelite Polyus, pero no la lograron realizar con exito. Esto lo digo de memoria, asi que me podria equivocar.

Exacto desmo904, el Polyus cayó al mar antes de poder entrar en órbita.

En el caso concreto de la Wikipedia con respecto al Burán no te puedo decir si contiene o no errores, porque siempre que puedo intento informarme en fuentes oficiales y la verdad es que ni lo he mirado, pero si me ha pasado con otros casos que no me ha quedado más remedio que acudir a la Wikipedia que veía unas patadas tremendas... no quiero decir que se haga a mala leshe, sólo que como tu has dicho está realizada por particulares, en muchos casos entusiastas de una materia, pero sin un conocimiento pleno de tal materia...
