Título: Air Europa y los pajarracos Jul 1st 2010 Publicado por: jorduran en 08 Julio, 2010, 19:07:10 An Air Europa Airbus A330-200, registration EC-JQG performing flight UX-9073 from Madrid,SP to Lanzarote,CI (Spain), departed Madrid Barajas' runway 36L when the airplane collided with a hawk. The crew levelled off at 8000 feet and returned to Barajas' runway 33L for a safe landing 17 minutes after departure.
A replacement Airbus A330-200 registration EC-KOM reached Lanzarote with a delay of 4.5 hours. The incident airplane received damage to its fuselage but was able to resume service about 6 hours later following repairs.
